Sheikh Abdalla Bin Suliman Al-ManeiChairman | Sheikh Abdalla is a Saudi national. He is a member of the Saudi Forum of Senior Sharia'h Scholars, which advises the government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Saudi public on all issues relating to religion. Sheikh Abdalla is a senior judge in Saudi courts and he chairs the court in the western region. He is also a prominent member of the International Fiqh Academy and member of the Saudi Higher Council Awqaf and serves on the Sharia'h boards of a number of financial institutions. He serves on the Sharia'h Boards of Alahli Takaful Company, HSBC, SABB Takaful and others. Sheikh Abdalla has been appointed as Advisor in the Saudi Royal court. He is a member of the Sharia'h Council of AAOIFI. |
Sheikh Nizam YaqoubyExecutive Member | Sheikh Nizam is a prominent Sharia'h scholar from Bahrain and sits on the Sharia'h Boards of numerous financial institutions in the GCC, Europe, Asia and America. He advises institutions including Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank, BNP Paribas, Dow Jones, Lloyds TSB, Citi Islamic Investment Bank E.C. Bahrain and Standard Chartered on matters pertaining to Islamic Banking and Finance. Sheikh Nizam is a regular speaker in Islamic Finance conferences on various issues relating to Islamic Finance. In addition to his Sharia'h qualifications, Sheikh Nizam Yaqouby holds a Masters in Economics and Comparative Religion from McGill University in Canada. Sheikh Nizam Yaquby has contributed important original research on many aspects of modern Islamic finance, and is considered one of the world's leading experts in the field. |
Sheikh Dr. Mohamed Al-GariMember | Dr. Al-Gari is an active member of the International Fiqh Academy and sits on the Sharia'h Boards of numerous financial institutions in the GCC, Europe and the United States including that of Dow Jones, International Islamic Fund Market, Citi Islamic Investment bank, Merrill Lynch and Saudi American Bank. In addition to his Sharia'h education, Dr. Mohammed Al-Gari Graduated from University of California with a Ph.D in Economics. He is a professor of Islamic Economics at King Abdul-Aziz University in Jeddah and is the Director of its Islamic Economics Research centre. He is an expert at the Islamic Jurisprudence Academies of the Organization of Islamic Countries and the Islamic World League. |
