Abdul Aziz Al Ghurair wins The Outstanding Contribution to the Industry Award

Dubai, United Arab Emirates, 23rd June 2011: His Excellency AbdulAziz Al Ghurair, CEO of Mashreq won The Outstanding Contribution to the Industry Award from The Banker Middle East Industry awards 2011. Al Ghurair was chosen as the recipient of the award for his achievements positive impact and continuous contributions to banking & finance industry. Previously, Al Ghurair received the Lifetime Achievement award from The Banker Middle East Industry Awards in 2009.

The award ceremony was attended by senior banking executives and decision makers in the financial industry. Nominees for the Banker Middle East Award were selected by a panel of banking and financial experts, which were then voted by the readers of Banker Middle East magazine. A record number of participants from the MENA region their votes based on overall performance, innovation, and improvements to determine the winners in 27 categories.
